HOME DAMAGED IN EARLY MORNING FIRE

An area home was severely damaged in a fire Friday morning.The Neillsville Fire Department was called to the home at W7965 Moonlight Road near Snyder Lake at around 5:30 a.m.
While it was initially reported as a chimney fire, Fire Chief Matt Meyer believes it was actually caused by faulty wiring.
Parts of the home suffered significant structural damage; the entire home had smoke damage.
The crew spent around 2 ? hours on the scene. Granton offered tanker assistance.
