Wisconsin Rapids Man Sentenced for Drug Over Dose Death of a Woman and Her Unborn Baby

(Chris Conley, WSAU) -A Wisconsin Rapids man has now been sentenced for selling the drugs that killed a woman and her unborn baby.

According to Chris Conley with WSAU, Laron Thomas was convicted in August of first-degree reckless homicide by the delivery of drugs and first-degree reckless homicide of an unborn child.

Friday,he was sentenced to at least 15 years in prison and 7 years of extended supervision. He will get credit for 206 days served. The woman who died’s boyfriend, Isaiah Solis, was sentenced earlier this year for his role in the death.
