Drug Charges Against Wausau Man Dropped

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) Drug charges have been dropped against a 32-year-old Wausau man.

According to Mike Leischner with WSAU, court records show Tyler Briggs is no longer facing felony counts for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute after the charges were dismissed on October 14th.

No reason for the acquittal was entered into the court records. Charges were dismissed without prejudice, meaning they could be refiled at a later date. Charges were originally filed back in January.
