Authorities Investigating Inmate Death at Stanley Prison

(Katrina Lim, WEAU) Authorities say an inmate has died at a local prison, according to Katrina Lim with WEAU.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, 46-year-old Shawn Bauer died on October 16 at the Stanley Correctional Institution.

The DOC told WEAU “as with all deaths at department of corrections facilities, local law enforcement and the county coroner or medical examiner were called to investigate.”
