WIS. SENATORS HAVE PERFECT ATTENDANCE
Monday, December 22nd, 2008 -- 8:53 AM
Both of Wisconsin's U.S. senators get an A for attendance. In a statement, Russ Feingold says he and Herb Kohl had perfect voting attendance during the current legislative session, which ran from 2007 to 2008. Each Democrat cast 657 votes.
They were among seven senators who made every vote.
Feingold says the people of Wisconsin have entrusted him with the responsibility of representing them, and he takes that responsibility seriously.
Kohl agrees, saying his constituents expect him to make sure their voices are heard in Washington.
The statement identifies the other five senators as Republicans Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine; Chuck Grassley of Iowa; and Democrats Ken Salazar of Colorado and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania.
