Neillsville Man Appears in Clark County Court for Domestic Disturbance Incident

A man arrested for a domestic disturbance incident in the City of Neillsville appeared in Clark County Court on Friday.

Back in September of 2024, Neillsville Police officers were dispatched to an address in the 20 block of Grand Avenue to investigate a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 34-year-old resident of Neillsville who had been involved in a disturbance and had sustained stab wounds from a kitchen knife.

The police provided medical assistance to the victim until the Neillsville Municipal Ambulance Service arrived on the scene. The ambulance transported the 34-year-old to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Later, police identified CEDRIC J. RIGGINS as the suspect in the stabbing. Riggins is facing charges of battery and disorderly conduct. During his arraignment on Friday, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him and is scheduled to be back in court on November 13th.
