Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library Holding Booksgiving Day
Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 -- 9:00 AM
On Friday November 28, the day after Thanksgiving, the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public library is holding their first ever Booksgiving day!
Throughout the year, through donations, from programs, or other sources, we end up with an abundance of books for young people. Many of these books are given to the Give a Kid a Book program run by the Friends of the Marshfield Public Library (FOMPL) during the holiday season.
But not all of the books fit the needs of that program. They have decided to make the remaining books available to you to make your very own. On that Friday, they will have tables set up near the Youth Information Desk. Books on these tables will be available to take for free.
They do ask a couple of small favors. Please limit yourself to one book per child. This allows the library to give back to as many as they can. They do also ask that the child is present to select their book. This just makes the choice that much more special to the reader.
Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
