Clark County Board of Supervisors Approve Borrowing for Roads

The Clark County Board of Supervisors heard a presentation on the 2026 budget at their meeting on Thursday.

They also authorized the sale of tax deeded properties acquired via auction. The Board also approved to borrow $6,100,000 in 2026 for road construction and other department capital outlay. They received a rate of 4.75%.

The Board also approved creating policy guidelines permitting county staff to accept monetary and non-monetary donations made to the County for public purposes.

Finally, the Board approved an application for grant funding to assist in the remodeling of Branch I and II of the Clark County courtrooms. The cost is expected to be $782,102.72.

The county can receive half the cost of the remodel, but it is a 50/50 match. So, if they receive the grant, the County must match $391,051.36.
