Two Thorp Students are Wisconsin Interscholastic Horse Association Grand Champions

Two Thorp students are Wisconsin Interscholastic Horse Association District 6, Division D, Grand Champions.

Last weekend, Kalli Kroeplin and Ruby Hein, traveled to Oshkosh to compete for 2 days in front of 3 judges to win this honor. They were accompanied by coaches Izzy Nowobielski and Dr. Veronica Magsamen and their four-legged teammates Libby, Buddy and Red.

The girls competed in speed events such as Barrels and Poles, but also pleasure events such as Western Horsemanship and Walk/Trot. They have advanced to the state competition in Madison later this month.
