Florida Man Sentenced for Breaking Into Vehicles in Eau Claire and Osseo

A man from Florida facing charges for breaking into vehicles, stealing items, and using credit cards in Eau Claire and Osseo was sentenced in Trempealeau County Court.

According to the Osseo Police Department, back in 2023, Izell Jeff, and two others, allegedly smashed windows of three vehicles that were parked near the Eau Claire YMCA. Personal items were stolen and credit cards were used to purchase $4,500 in Visa gift cards. He was arrested after being found in a vehicle in Trempealeau County.

Jeff was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, misappropriate ID info to obtain money. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was given a withheld sentence of 2 years and 6 months of probation.
