The Highground Veterans Memorial’s Winter Clothing Drive Begins November 1st

The Highground’s Winter Clothing Drive will be November 1 through March 31, 2026.

Please note: Items can be dropped off at the Gift Shop weekdays between 10am–4pm. Veteran agencies: Please reach out if you need items. The most-needed items for the cold season include: hand warmers and winter outwear (for example: jackets, boots, hats, gloves/mittens, etc.).

The Highground collects and distributes items to homeless Veterans year-round; however, the need is significantly more acute during the winter months. They distribute items to houseless Veterans, families in need, the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Chippewa Falls, the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Clark County and Every Third Saturday in Minneapolis.
