Marshfield Area United Way Working to Help Residents of the Community Reach Their Full Potential

Today, so many of our neighbors in the Marshfield area are working hard to overcome barriers and get ahead.

Somewhere in the community:

• A working parent is stretching this week’s paycheck to cover the growing costs of groceries, utilities, and housing.
• A young adult needs guidance in choosing a career path leading to a good-paying job and a promising career.
• A middle-schooler is struggling to find a way to stay focused in class because they didn’t have enough nutritious food at home over the weekend.

But they’re not alone, and no challenge is too big to take on when we work together. Together with Marshfield Area United Way’s community-serving partners and supporters like you, we can connect people to the opportunities they need to reach their full potential and make our community a place where everyone can thrive.

With your help, last year Marshfield Area United Way provided:

• 1,156 requests for food assistance
• 230 individuals with housing support and security
• 10,117 counseling sessions for children and teens
• 540 youth mentoring experiences
• 677 children with supplemental food for the weekends

And so much more. United is the Way we continue to meet the moment for our community’s greatest needs and build a better future for us all.
