Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Amendments to Clark County Employee Handbook

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved amendments to the Clark County Employee Handbook and Administrative Manual regarding a 2021 benefits update.

Some of the changes made involved language in the nursing policy for mothers, the telecommuting policy, scheduled on call compensation for social service workers, PTO carry over from year-to-year, and the grievance procedure.

The board also approved the Annual 2021 Forestry and Parks Work Plan and the Clark County Forest Comprehensive Land Use Plan for 2021-2035.  The board also approved the Clark County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan from 2020-2025.  The board approved a donation from the WINX Club and the creation of a non-lapsing fund for waterfowl enhancement.

Finally, the board approved a resolution supporting an increase in Child Support Funding. There were a couple items pulled from the agenda as an agreement could not be reached before the meeting.  The board also heard an update on the coronavirus situation in the county.
