Marathon County Sheriff’s Department Identifies Two Killed in September 26th Crash

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office and the Marathon County Medical Examiner’s Office have identified the two people killed in the September 26, 2025, traffic crash on State Highway 52 near Forest Lawn Road as Shirley L. Erickson, 81, and Arlen Erickson, 82, of the Town of Wausau.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:01 p.m. Friday near the intersection of State Highway 52 and Forest Lawn Road in the Town of Wausau.
