Thorp Elementary School Receives Donation From Amanda Geissler Memorial Foundation

Thorp Elementary School is pleased to acknowledge the generous donation from the Amanda Geissler Memorial Foundation, which will enable the school to provide books to all kindergarten students and in both kindergarten classrooms.

Amanda Geissler's love of reading and learning inspired her to share her passion with others, and her foundation's support continues her legacy. Last year, the foundation supported second grade students by supplying books for individual use and classroom libraries.

This year's contribution will allow them to purchase personal books for each kindergarten student and expand their classroom libraries, fostering a love of reading and discovery.

They are grateful to the Amanda Geissler Memorial Foundation for their ongoing support in enriching our students’ educational experiences.  The motto "Dream Big, Read" serves as a reminder that this gift is a tribute to Amanda’s inspiring spirit and her enduring belief in the transformative power of education and dreams.
