Wood County Law Enforcement Holding Drug Take Back Day on October 25th

Wood County is holding a Drug Take Back day on Saturday, October 25th.
You can drop off the medication in the original container, just make sure to black out your name and other personal information on prescription bottles. Or you can place loose pills in a plastic bag, but liquids should be kept in their original container.
Locations include the Marshfield City Hall, hosted by the Marshfield Police Department, from 10am-2pm; Pittsville Police Department, hosted by the Department, from 9am-Noon; the Wisconsin Rapids Pick n’ Save, hosted by the Wisconsin Rapids and Grand Rapids Police Departments and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, from 10am-2pm; and the Port Edwards Fire Department, hosted by the Port Edwards Police Department, from 11am-1pm. Also, the Town of Rome, in Adams County, will be included from 10am-2pm and it’s being hosted by the Rome Police Department.
If you can’t make it on the day of the event, you can always drop off medications at any permanent drop box locations in Wood County. This event is being organized with Healthy People Wood County - IMPACT and Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY). Any questions call 421-8911.
