Marshfield Man Arrested for 1st Offense OWI

A Marshfield man was arrested for 1st offense OWI after a traffic stop in the City of Marshfield.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on September 26th, around 2:55am, an officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound on S. Central Ave at a high rate of speed.

A traffic stop was initiated at 9th and Central and an OWI investigation was conducted with a 21-year-old Marshfield male. Subsequently, the male was arrested for OWI 1st. K9 Mario conducted a free air sniff of the listed vehicle with a positive alert for a controlled substance.

Numerous items were collected and field tested positive for THC. Charges for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of THC are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney's Office.
