Clark County Board of Supervisors Approve Agreements With Ho-Chunk Transportation Authority on Bridge Projects

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with the Ho-Chunk Nation Transportation Authority regarding the Highway M bridge replacement project.

By entering this agreement, the Ho-Chunk Nation Transportation Authority will help pay for the Highway M bridge replacement project by contributing up to $945,500. The final cost of the project is estimated to be $3.8 million.

The Board also approved entering into an agreement with the Ho-Chunk Nation Transportation Authority for the Highway G bridge replacement project. With this agreement, they could provide up to $1,375,645 toward the project, which is estimated to cost $4.3 million.

The Board also approved accepting a DATCP grant for a Clean Sweep event. The grant will provide $18,026.98 and it is a matching grant. The Board also approved an increase in the marriage license fees. The license will increase from $75 to $80 and the three-day wavier fee will increase from $10 to $20.

The Board also approved the 2nd reading of an ordinance regarding tobacco products. Finally, the Board heard the 2024 Audit Report, the 2024 County Clerk’s Report, and the County’s Economic Development Report.
