Marathon County Corporation Counsel Leaving his Position on September 26th

(Chris Conley, WSAU) Marathon County’s corporation counsel, Michael Puerner, will leave his position on September 26th.
According to Chris Conley with WSAU, he’s been the county’s top legal advisor for the past four years. Puerner was named corporation counsel when Scott Corbet was elected as a county judge.
Puerner has not announced his future plans. He was acknowledged for his service to Marathon County at last week’s county board meeting. County chairman Kurt Gibbs thanked Puerner for his professionalism and advice to the board. A replacement has not been named.
