Dorothy is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Dorothy

Age: 6-Months-Old

Breed: Chow Chow Mix

Meet Dorothy, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Dororthy came to CCHS with her 3 sisters towards the middle of July from a local farm. This gorgeous Chow Chow mix is about 6 months old and weighs roughly 33.2# currently.

She's so pretty with her short-haired coat of brown and tan with black spots on her tongue. Dorothy is a goofy gal with lots of love to share! She loves attention and is happy to trot along beside you wherever life takes you; she's just happy to be involved.

Dorothy would benefit from a furever family familiar with the needs of Chow Chows, as they need a consistent training routine. While we aren't entirely certain what her exact breed makeup is, we can tell you she's 100% a total wigglebutt!

With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Dorothy today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Save the Date! The 3rd Annual Clark County Community, Crafts and Causes' Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, October 4th, from 9 AM - 3 PM at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Neillsville.

There will be over 50 vendors, a food drive for the local food pantry, and food sales by the American Legion Post 73. There's also an amazing raffle with 100% of proceeds going to help the animals at CCHS! Plus, it's just a really fun time for all! Please come join us and support really great cause

You can learn more about, and adopt, Dorothy, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
