Thorp School District's Food Service Staff Selected for a Grant

The Thorp School District’s Food Service staff was selected for a grant.

They were awarded a $2,400 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP). Implementation of this program helps increase student consumption of fresh produce and build lifelong healthy eating habits.

Much of the produce enjoyed by our students will come from local sources.
