Wisconsin Rapids Police Department Investigating House Fire

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) Police in Wisconsin Rapids are investigating a house fire.

According to Mike Leischner with WSAU, crews were called to the home on 17th Avenue at 2 AM Friday. All occupants managed to exit the structure, and fire crews quickly knocked down the flames.

No injuries were reported. Officers are asking anyone who may have surveillance footage from the area, particularly the 1500 block of 17th Ave, to contact Detective David Bailey at 715-421-6236.

That includes video doorbell or security camera footage. The incident remains under investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
