Ferris is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Ferris

Age: 14-Weeks-Old

Breed: Great Pyrenees/Doberman Mix

Meet Ferris, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Ferris came to CCHS with his 4 siblings (Cameron, Jeanie, Rooney and Sloane) from a local farm towards the end of August.

This charming Great Pyrenees/Doberman mix is about 14 weeks old and weighs roughly 29lbs currently. Ferris is a HUGE lovebug! His favorite activities include giving kisses, staying glued to your side, and plotting how to spend the perfect day off with you!

While we may not have 20/20 vision into the future, we can tell you that Ferris is going to be one honkin' dog and his furever family should know that though he may grow large, he will still try to curl up on your lap if you give him the chance!

With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Ferris today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Ferris, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
