Cadott Man Arrested for OWI with a Child in the Vehicle

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A Cadott, Wis. man is accused of an OWI offense with a child in the vehicle, according to WEAU staff.

According to a press release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, on Sept. 7, 2025, at 5:15 p.m., authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash on 250th Street at County Road O.

A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper saw that a driver of one of the involved vehicles, 47-year-old Mark Dominguez, showed signs of impairment. A passenger in the other vehicle that Dominguez hit sustained minor injuries.

Dominguez was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16. Dominguez was taken to a hospital for a blood test for evidence, then was turned over to the Chippewa County Jail.

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
