Name: Racer
Age: 1.5-Years-Old
Breed: Bosto Terrier Mix
Meet Racer, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Racer came to CCHS from a local farm earlier this August. This dashing Boston Terrier mix is about 11 months old and weighs roughly 32lbs currently.
Racer is a total ham looking for his furever home! He can come off a little bashful at first, but that's only because he wants to make the best first impression he can!
Racer will need some work with potty training having come from a farm life, but with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement, this smart guy will have it figured out in no time. While we aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% your new best friend!
With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Racer today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/ applying-to-adopt.
Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.
We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs- petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!
You can learn more about, and adopt, Racer, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
