Edgar Man Accused of OWI After Crashing into Flying J Travel Center in Black River Falls

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A man is accused of operating while intoxicated after a vehicle crashed into a travel center building in Jackson County, according to WEAU staff.
According to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, on Aug. 27, 2025, at around 3:05 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a Flying J Travel Center in the City of Black River Falls.
Deputies found the driver inside the building and identified the driver as 38-year-old Jordan Gajewski of Edgar, Wis. The press release says Gajewski admitted to consuming beer and to having been present at a bar earlier in the evening.
The sheriff’s office is recommending an operating while intoxicated citation. According to the press release, video surveillance footage showed the suspected vehicle traveling on State Highway 54 before entering the Flying J property and striking the main building.
