NEW MOTION FILED IN SUDER/BRABAZON CASE
Friday, November 28th, 2008 -- 9:22 AM
The ex-girlfriend of an area state lawmaker wants jurors to know she volunteered to take a polygraph test.Lisa Brabazon has been bound over for trial in Marathon County where she?s facing over one dozen felony forgery charges and four misdemeanors for using Rep. Scott Suder?s (R-Abbotsford) checks and credit cards without his permission.
She told investigators Suder said she could use the checks and credit cards when he was in Madison.
According to a motion filed earlier this month, Brabazon?s attorney, William Mansell (man-SELL), says his client volunteered to take a lie-detector test. While results of these tests aren?t permissible during trial, the fact that Brabazon volunteered to take the test without prompting from her legal counsel may be allowed.
A judge will rule on the motion on December 22nd.
