Wausau Police Captain Recognized for 20 Years of Service

Congratulations to Wausau Police Captain Nathan Cihlar on achieving his four stripe patch for 20 years of service in law enforcement.

Captain Cihlar was hired in 2005 and has served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Lieutenant and now Captain of Administration. The Wausau Police Department issues a service stripe to officers for every 5 years they serve in law enforcement.

It's a symbol of pride and longevity each officer can wear on their long-sleeve uniform shirt.
