NO CALL DEADLINE APPROACHES

By Andrew Beckett, WRNTime is running out to add your land line or cell phone to the state's "No Call" list for telemarketers.
You have until the end of the month to add your number to the next edition of the state's No Call list, which comes out in January.
DATCP's Glen Loyd says signing up remains fairly simple. You can either add your name through the agency's [url=https://nocall.wisconsin.gov/web/registration.asp]website[/url] or call 1-866-966-2255.
Loyd says they've seen a strong response from cell phone users in the few months they've been allowed to sign up. Over 1.4 million people have signed up for the list, with about 92,000 mobile lines added since last summer.
DATCP is seeing more complaints about telemarketers from cell phone users. Loyd believes that's largely due to more people using cell phones as their primary contact number.
If you miss the November deadline, you can still sign up for the April edition of the list.
