Ziggi’s Coffee Opening First Wisconsin Location in Medford Next Week

(Caitlin Shuda, USA TODAY NETWORK - Wisconsin) A Denver-based coffee shop is opening its first Wisconsin location next week in Medford, according to Caitlin Shuda with USA TODAY NETWORK - Wisconsin.

According to a press release from Ziggi’s Coffee, the brand will open its new shop at 5 a.m. Aug. 26 at 1260 N. Eighth St. in Medford. Steven and Rachel Lawrence are opening the 2,060-square-foot coffee shop and drive-through with Pete Stamov, according to the release, adding 15 new jobs to the area.

Steven Lawrence said his team is honored to open the first Ziggi’s Coffee in Wisconsin, bringing the brand and its values to their community. “Having lived in Medford for five years, with Rachel being a lifelong resident of the area, we’ve seen the need for a place where people can gather over great coffee,” Lawrence said.

“We’re proud to bring Ziggi’s Coffee to the community and look forward to creating a space where personal connections can be brewed.” The menu includes specialty coffees, teas, Fresherz Energy Infusions, smoothies, Italian sodas and more options.

Guests can build their own dirty sodas at Ziggi’s, as well, adding their favorite sodas with additional flavors, fruit purees, candies and creams. Guests can also find a variety of breakfast sandwiches, burritos, paninis, breads, cinnamon rolls, scones, cookies, cake pops and more.

Brandon Knudsen, Ziggi’s Coffee co-founder and CEO, said his team is excited to open the first Wisconsin location. “This opening highlights our ongoing growth and our dedication to building connections with new communities as we bring the Ziggi’s experience to more people nationwide,” Knudsen said.

Ziggi’s Coffee will offer a variety of promotions and specials from Sept. 1-7. Promotions will kick off with half-off menu drinks Sept. 1, a chance to win free Ziggi’s coffee for a year Sept. 4 and more deals throughout the week.

The celebration also includes a fundraiser Sept. 2 to support Welcomed, a nonprofit helping provide meals, child care and more to foster families. Ziggi’s Coffee will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
