Blitz is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Blitz

Age: 5-Years-Old

Breed: ?

Meet Blitz, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Blitz came to CCHS as an owner surrender after not getting along with the other dog in the home. This handsome mixed breed is about 5 years old and weighs roughly 42.8lbs currently.

Blitz is a very happy guy that loves to take in all of life's scents and smells. He can be quite independent and loves to have the space to observe the world around him. But one sure way to get him to follow in line is by making him his favorite treat, a peanut butter sandwich!

Blitz is a friendly guy, but he would really appreciate being the only dog in the house. While we aren't exactly certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% your loyal White Knight!

With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. Apply for Blitz today!  You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Blitz, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
