Wildwood Zoo Welcome New Canadian Lynx Cub

Wildwood Zoo is thrilled to announce the arrival of its newest resident, a 3-month-old male Canadian lynx.

Acquired from a partnering USDA-accredited zoo, Odin is thriving in his new environment. He is gaining weight quickly and adapting well to his new home in our Wildcat Building. This marks an exciting addition to Wildwood Zoo’s commitment to conservation, education, and showcasing wildlife found in North America.

The Canadian lynx, a secretive and elusive feline native to northern forests, was found in abundance more broadly across Wisconsin’s northern counties. Though sightings remain rare, lynx have been documented in the state over the years during the most severe winters.
