Area Organizations Selected for Alliant Energy’s Community Grant

In its second Community Grant cycle of the year, Alliant Energy and the Alliant Energy Foundation awarded over $530,000 to various causes and nonprofits across Iowa and Wisconsin.

To date in 2025 Alliant Energy has awarded nearly $1.3M total, with one last grant cycle in the year remaining. All Community Grant recipients seek to make an impact in Alliant Energy’s four focus areas: Community safety and engagement, environmental stewardship, workforce readiness and hunger and housing.

The Marshfield Area United Way will receive $500 for their Nutrition on Weekends Program. The Wisconsin Rapids Family Center will receive $1,000 for providing nights of safe shelter to victims fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault and/or human trafficking. Mid-State Technical College will receive $2,000 for 2025 scholarships.
