Black River Falls Fire Department and Wisconsin DNR Respond to Jackson County Wildfire

The Black River Falls Fire Department and Wisconsin DNR responded to a reported wildfire in the Town of Komensky on Friday.

According to the Black River Falls Fire Department, it happened on Highbank Road at around 1:10 p.m. When crews arrived, they confirmed there was an active fire spanning around 2-3 acres.

The fire ended up burning around 4 acres of land. There are no other details at this time.
