Jackson County Correctional Institution Donates Funds to Jackson County Sheriff's K9 Unit

On May 29, 2025 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit, along with other local canine units, assisted the Jackson Correctional Institution (JCI) with a contraband search of the facility.

In appreciation for assisting the facility, JCI did an internal fundraiser for the Canine Unit. Accepting the donation on July 29, 2025 was Sgt. Edington (K9 Legend) and Deputy Thorson (K9 Cash).

The Jackson County Canine Unit would like to thank JCI and all the local businesses in Jackson County for their continued support.
