UPDATE: Marshfield Police Department Looking for Woman Involved in Worthless Check/Car Dealership Scheme
Thursday, July 31st, 2025 -- 11:29 AM

On 06-28-25, a woman purchased a vehicle at Wheelers of Marshfield using a check for $60,000, which was written by her.
The individuals left the dealership with the vehicle, and several days later the check was found to be NSF. The vehicle was returned by a man, but he has since been interviewed and cleared in the investigation.
Parts were removed and sold from the vehicle. It is believed that the female could possibly be involved in several incidents throughout the state where vehicles are purchased with a worthless check, and the vehicles are then stripped out and sold for parts.
If you have any information regarding this woman, feel free to contact the Marshfield Police Department. The female suspect is a Jaime Sue Woelbing F/W/DOB 03-20-1977. This suspect uses several different aliases with the last names of Boring, Rightmire, Woelbing or a combination of two of these.
**Please Note: The original release stated a male was involved in the scheme as well. However, he has since been interviewed by police and cleared of any wrong doing.**
