Wood County Sheriff’s Department Warns of Scam

The Wood County Sheriff's Department has received reports of a male subject portraying to be from the Wood County Sheriffs Department and advising people that they failed to appear for court and will be arrested.

If you receive a call, DO NOT give out any personal information, hang up, and report it to the Sheriff’s Department by calling their non-emergency number at (715)-421-8700.
