The Neillsville Fire Department had two calls in less than nine hours.The first came in Wednesday afternoon at 4:14 p.m. Fire Chief Matt Meyer says they were called to a potential fire at the Nelson Warehouse building on Industrial Park Drive.
They found one of the loading dock bumpers was on fire. The crew spent about one half-hour on the scene. There was minimal damage.
Then, the crew was called to the scene of a grass fire at 12:44 a.m. Thursday morning. It was located near Opelt and Bryan Avenues in the Town of Levis. The crew spent around 30-minutes extinguishing the fire. It burned one-quarter acre of grass.
