United Special Sportsman Alliance Holds Summer Fest Event in Wood County

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A non-profit helped families of kids with special needs have some summer fun.

According to WEAU staff, the United Special Sportsman Alliance held its 20th Summer Fest at Saddle Mound Cranberry March in Wood County. Kids with disabilities and serious health conditions were treated to camping, fishing, tubing and other summer activities they otherwise would not be able to do.

It was free of charge for all families. Around 50 families benefitted this year. The program runs on donations. Click here to help.
