Black River Falls School District's Nutrition Team Receives Two Awards From the USDA

The Black River Falls School District congratulates the District Nutrition Team.

The school nutrition department has earned two prestigious USDA awards: the Breakfast Trailblazer Award and the Innovation in Nutrition Education Award.

Presented by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in partnership with Action for Healthy Kids, these awards honor exceptional efforts to deliver healthier, more engaging, and more impactful school meals to our students.

The Food Service Team's dedication is being celebrated across the country, and they have even been invited to share their innovations at the National Healthy Meals Summit.

This achievement is more than just recognition for the food service staff. It's a win for every student in the district. It demonstrates that small-town schools can accomplish big things when it comes to feeding the future.
