Neillsville Police Department Warns of Vehicle Break-Ins in the City

The Neillsville Police Department is warning of some vehicle break-ins that occurred in the City.

During the early evening hours, several unlocked vehicles on the southside of the city were entered unlawfully. The Department urges all residents to lock your vehicles, especially during hours of darkness, to help prevent further incidents.

• Always remove or hide valuables like wallets, electronics, and bags before leaving your car.
• Park in well-lit, populated areas whenever possible.
• Consider installing motion-sensor lights or security cameras near your driveway or parking spot.
• If you see suspicious activity, report it to local authorities immediately—your vigilance can help protect others.
