Jessie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Jessie

Age: 4-Months-Old

Breed: Shepherd Mix

Meet Jessie, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Jessie came to CCHS with her 12 siblings from a local farm. They were all wonderful and happy puppies, just 10 weeks old.

Just one little problem, they had ringworm. While not threatening to their lives, it does mean they can't be adopted til healed. They were in quarantine for 6 long weeks while being treated, and have just been cleared by our Vet.

Jessie is now 4 months old, weighs about 20.3#, and is such a pretty girl! She is a Shepherd mix with a short-haired tri-colored coat. And she has absolutely awesome ears, too!

She has a sweet personality with lots of love and happiness to share. She is looking forward to great times and lots of adventures with her new family. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup.

If you'd looking to add a new friend to your world, please consider Jessie (or one of her siblings) and apply to adopt! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Freeday Friday is back!! On Friday, August 1st, Freeday Friday will be held at our original CC Resale Store. It's located at 600 Hewett St, in downtown Neillsville, on the corner opposite the Post Office.

This is our “inconvenience store”. We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why?........cuz it’s all FREE!

That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks or buggies and fill ‘em up. It’s all free! We call it Freeday Friday and it’s August 1st from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. See you then!!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Jessie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
