(Hub City Times) Stoney River Marshfield has received a national quality award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living, recognizing the facility’s commitment to improving resident care.

According to the Hub City Times, the assisted living and memory care community was named a 2025 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award, one of only 20 Wisconsin facilities to receive the honor this year.

“Providing our residents and their families with the best possible care and services we can is what we live for,” said Sarah Krenn, executive director of Stoney River Marshfield, in a news release. The Bronze Award represents the entry level of AHCA/NCAL’s quality improvement program.

Recipients must develop an organizational profile including their vision, mission statement and key performance elements. They also must demonstrate the ability to implement a sustainable performance improvement system.

“We commend this year’s recipient for taking this important first step on their quality journey,” said Cliff Porter, president and CEO of AHCA/NCAL. “Their commitment to continuous improvement and resident-centered care reflects the heart of our mission.”

The quality award program encourages healthcare providers to pursue excellence through continuous improvement processes. Trained examiners review applications to ensure facilities meet established criteria before awards are granted.
