Two Arrested for Possession After Traffic Stop in Tomah

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) Two people are in custody on suspicion of drug charges following a traffic stop in Monroe County, according to WEAU staff.
According to a press release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, on July 18, 2025, authorities stopped a vehicle in Tomah, Wis. being driven by 53-year-old Kevin Conant of Black River Falls, Wis.
During the stop, a K9 alerted the authorities to the vehicle and authorities found 47 grams of methamphetamine. Conant was booked into the Monroe County Jail on the suspicion of possession w/ intent amphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, and probation hold.
A passenger in Conant’s vehicle, 37-year-old Kayli Williams-Schaller of Sparta, Wis., was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and eight counts of felony bail jumping.
