City of Wausau Trying Shorter Hours at City Hall on Friday

(Chris Conley, WSAU) -Shorter summer hours are now in effect on Fridays at Wausau City Hall.

According to Chris Conley with WSAU, abbreviated summer days are being tried on a trial basis this summer through August 29th. On Friday’s City Hall will be open beginning at 7:15am, and will close early at 12:15pm.

City leaders say foot traffic on Friday afternoons tends to be very light. The shorter Friday hours do not apply to certain departments: The Fire Department, Public Works, the Sewer and Water plant, and the Parks & Rec Department.

Normal City Hall hours will remain Mondays through Thursdays from 7:15am to 4:30.
