Music for Miracles Holding Concert August 16th to Raise Funds to Feed Veterans

Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 -- 12:01 PM

Music for Miracles is holding a concert on Saturday, August 16th in Columbia Park in Marshfield from 11am-7pm.

This concert will raise funds to help feed our veterans. I spoke with Greg Metz and he discussed the concert in more detail.

Listen to the interview with Greg here!

Once again, the concert is being held on Saturday, August 16th from 11am-7pm in Marshfield’s Columbia Park.

(AI assisted transcription of the interview by Otter.ai):

Greg: " It's called Music for Miracles. I started it three years ago. And each year I do a concert at Columbia Park. And what we do is, every year, I figure out a different charity or organization to raise money for."

"The first year we did for MS and then last year we did for Stroman Park, for the firefighters of Marshfield. And this year we're going to do it for the veterans to help feed the veterans of Marshfield. Hoping to raise some money for that. The veterans gave us everything they had and I want to give back to them."

Riley: "Everyone can come and attend this concert, correct?"

Greg: "Yes. So, it's a free concert. It's open to anybody. Just bring your lawn chairs and what you want to drink and enjoy the day. It's gonna be free. Music starts at 10:30 around there. And then we go to about 6:30. The first entertainment will be Jim and Trevor Rhoades. And then after that, it'll be Doug Kroening and the Hucksters band play after that.

Riley: "You also have some raffles going on that day?"

Greg: " Yes, we're gonna offer some raffle baskets to be raffled off and we'll do a 5050 raffle. And if anybody wants to donate some raffle baskets, we'd be more than happy to take some. We're always looking for some more to raffle off."

Riley: "Is there anything else, anything else you'd like to add that you'd like our listeners to know about?"

Greg: "Just like to have everybody come on down, have a good time, and, you know, raise some money for a good cause, because veterans, they need our help. And, you know, we owe it to them for what they've done for us. So, that's basically what we're looking at."
