Thorp Teen Killed in Two Vehicle Crash in Chippewa County

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A Thorp teen was killed in a 2-vehicle crash in Chippewa County, according to WEAU staff.

According to an email from Chippewa County Sheriff Travis Hakes, on Sunday, July 5, around 2:00 p.m., the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a 2-vehicle crash with both vehicles overturned.

Multiple subjects were trapped in each vehicle and one vehicle was on fire in the Town of Delmar on CTH H near 110th Ave. Both occupants in one of the vehicles were trapped and one of them, Ayden Nicpon, age 19 from Thorp, was determined to be deceased at the scene.

The crash and other details are being reviewed by our Office.
