Gin is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Gin

Age: 4-Months-Old

Breed: Heeler Mix

Meet Gin, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Gin came to CCHS with his 3 sisters and brother early in May from a local farm. This adorable Heeler mix is about 4 months old and weighs 15.8# currently.

Gin is quite the sweetheart! He is a handsome devil with a short-haired coat that is white with some tan and gray merle on his head, back and tail and speckles on his legs.

He's got super awesome perky ears, too. Gin is a lively pup, always ready for an adventure, but could definitely be persuaded into a cuddle and a nap. While we can't say for certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% a great boy!

With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. If GIn is the new friend your heart's been looking for, apply to adopt Gin today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Gin, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
