UPDATE: SEARCH FOR SIDIE CONTINUES

Friday, November 14th, 2008 -- 12:39 PM

It?s been a week since Alisha Sidie went missing.

Search crews rolled out of their makeshift command center at the Hatfield Fire Department Friday morning. After a week of searching, officials said their investigation into the 27-year-old's disappearance remained at ?square one?.

?Today, search efforts will continue. We have boats, ATVs. We have the deputies here from surrounding counties," explained Sgt. Patrick LaBarbera of the Jackson County Sheriff?s Department.

LaBarbera says nothing has turned up and Sidie?s disappearance remains a complete mystery.

She reportedly left her ex-husband's house after an argument Friday night. She hasn't been seen since.

The volunteer search was suspended Thursday, but not because of any new information.

"It was basically because we've been through this area so many times. Some areas have been searched twice. A few areas have been searched as many as three areas," says LaBarbera. "We've just exhausted all areas here."

On Thursday, three specialized search teams came in the densely wooded area. Nine search dogs failed to turn up any new information.
