Marshfield Area United Way Releases Annual Report

The Marshfield Area United Way released their annual report for 2024.

Some highlights include total revenue in the amount of $1,032,155. Breaking that down further, $503,710 was awarded in community grants, $178,328 went to the NOW Program, $104,547 went towards volunteer center projects, $50,672 went towards community impact and other program support, and $20,000 went towards the 211 Resource Center.

Some other numbers include 12,760 baby items collected, 791 backpacks with school supplies went to different kids, 3,464 food items were collected during the United We Can sculpture contest, provided 677 food packs for kids, 1,005 volunteers served 9,617 hours, 26 yards were raked on Make a Difference Day, 1,401 referrals were made with the 211 program, and 83 children received scholarships to participate in a sport or healthy lifestyle activity.

For 2024, the Volunteer of the Year award went to Shelly Schneider; NOW Volunteer of the Year Award went to Josh Nagel; Employee Campaign Coordinator went to Julie Schooley and Brent Keller with Roehl Transport, Inc.; Campaign of the Year went to Roehl Transport Inc. for a large business, City of Marshfield for a medium business, and Mid-State Technical College for a small business; Increased Giving went to Marshfield High School and the Felker Brothers for a large businesses, Dental Crafters Network for a medium business, and RE/MAX American Dream for a small business; Participation went to the Marshfield School District for a large business, Simplicity Credit Union for a medium business, and Personal Development Center for a small business; New Partner went to OXBO Forage Division/H&S; and Community Partner went to Forward Bank.
